What’s in store at WindsorFest?

WindsorFest’s great drawcard is the wild rides for big kids. In the past, these have included thrill seeking offers like the Kamikaze, the Hurricane, and the Jumbo Slide. As well as little kids’ rides like the Cup and Saucer, Super Jet Coaster, and a Jumping Castle.

Kids can also have their face painted or get involved in arts and crafts.

Try your hand at sideshow alley, where a range of fantastic prizes can be won. There are also market stalls, plant stalls, second-hand books, clothing, and toys and much more.

No festival would be complete without oodles of delicious food. We offer all the traditional favourites – dagwood dogs, fairy floss, sno-cones, BBQ, and burgers as well as homemade baked goods, jams, and chutneys.

Windsor is a heritage-listed school, and it is a beautiful place to visit with many large old trees, beautiful buildings, and luscious grassed areas. We offer several places to relax and take in the atmosphere of our great line-up of entertainment. Enjoy a soft drink or a nice cuppa in our general seating area. Or pop into our over 18’s area for a cheeky glass of wine or beer.

Amenities

There is wheelchair access at the school, as well as parent rooms and toilets.

A great community event

WindsorFest is organised and run by Windsor school parents, teachers, and students. This day is a chance for our school community to get involved together in something great. WindsorFest leaves a legacy for our children. It is a chance to raise much-needed funds to help make their education first-class. It is also, and importantly, giving them some wonderful memories of their time at Windsor State School.

But it's not just for the kids. WindsorFest is a chance for the whole community to get out, meet one another and feel good about the place where they live.

Sponsorship

Do you own a local business? We would love your support to make this a wonderful event for the Windsor community. We have gold, silver, or bronze sponsorship options. You can also donate raffle prizes of goods and or services. We always acknowledge this much-needed sponsorship within the school community prior to, during and after the event. For those businesses looking to “give back” and support good education, this event is a great way to do that while reaching a significant portion of the community. See more about sponsorship opportunities, or contact the WindsorFest Subcommittee to register your interest on windsorfest@windsorsspandc.com.au
